Meet
Emerson.
Since age five, Emerson has studied illustration and mixed media at the Art Institute of Chicago, at studios and camps across the Midwest, and throughout Portugal.
From the Guggenheim and MoMA in New York to the Frida Kahlo Museum in Mexico City, from Museu Picasso in Barcelona to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, she has sat on the floor and drawn.
Her cartoons, graphic novels, and book covers have appeared in classrooms and school newspapers. Her sketches have become club logos, T-shirts, and advertisements—and she has taught art to younger students.
